The glue is superb stuff but unfortunately it is only available in 1 litre cans and after you have used a small amount it goes off in the can unless you wrap it up in clingfilm.

Hi Folks,

when I got my last tin, about three years ago, I also got a dozen small glass jam jars from Ebay (apprx 50mL) Cost about £8 ish.

Ebay link

The glue is decanted into the jars and the lid tightened down.

Store upside down so any internal air drying is at the bottom.

I have used two so far and the remaining ten are still liquid and fresh.

If you only need small amounts I have heard that there is someone in the south east that does 50ml jars of the stuff ....................,

Roger - if you want those small jars, go to a local half decent hotel/cafe/tea room and ask them for the ones they throw away which came with jam/marmalade/honey in them - true recycling but very, very expensive ie free and usually only too pleased to get rid of them!

Can you get the lids off? The glue doesn’t stick the lids? JJC

Store upside down and ensure that there is no glue on the threads when first filled.

jars that are being used will probably stay fine for quite some time.. However if you can't get the lid off you only lose a small amount.
