Hi

I have a number on gearbox which I do not understand.  can someone help please?  It has V2946 on it and another has CD29091.  I found a link to a database of Triumph gearboxes but it seems not to work.

Thanks in anticipation,

Rich

Rich,

A CD numbered gearbox is correct for a 1970 TR6. The CP and CC series from 1968 up to circa the end of 1971 shared the same CD numbering for the gearbox. Going by your number it would be correct for a July 1970 gearbox vis-à-vis commission numbers of circa CC56000 & CP52150.

I can't help with casting numbers
