qim
Hi While my car was being repainted, it seems that the bonnet was stolen and replaced by a thinner (Chinese) version. Does anyone have an original bonnet for sale? Regards

David Hi David Meanwhile, can you tell me if this is an original (heavy metal) bonnet and could you send pictures to see condition? As for shipping... yes, once it goes over 1 meter it becomes expensive. But tell me how much you want for it, please. Camilo

Bob Smith
Camillo, I have a spare bonnet & boot lid for a pre TS60000 vehicle if David can't help you
david ferry
Camilo, I’m out of the U.K. at the moment so cannot take any photos until later this week. The original Stanpart bonnet is rust free and has no rust damage. It has been professionally glass bead blasted and etch primed. From memory, I think I may have other Stanpart pre TS60000 bonnets that have not been glass bead blasted and etch primed. i do not have a boot lid. David Edited March 11, 2019 by david ferry Further bonnets

Fireman049
The bonnet on my post 60,000 3A was a pre- 60,000 one. I fabricated two raised bonnet hinges and saved some money! My TR is now standing idle and I've lost all interest in the bloody thing!! Tom. Edited March 11, 2019 by Fireman049

Fireman049
Hi qim ~ I fabricated (created) two solid 'raised' plinths which I soldered to the bonnet from mild steel iron bar. I'm afraid that I didn't photograph the process but it was quite simple and you can't tell the difference. Tom.
