The worst of it was south of us so only around 8 inches of snow to clear yesterday morning and the snow blower made quick work of that. https://ring.com/share/6664521132825951178 Now we have a few days of frigid weather where we wont get above freezing until the weekend. Lets just say March is a transition month.. Stan

Rodbr
For anyone wanting to watch this go to Dailymotion.com here is a working (I think) link to it. If in doubt search for Car SOS and find the episopde. Why does Tim have to be such a Knob? I know it makes good telly but it gets a bit irritating after a while. Never seen him complete a task yet. Enjoy Rod
Tim D.
Just saw Fuzz Townsend in Kenilworth Waitrose!!
ed_h
I watched the SOS TR4 program. I enjoyed it, but I'd still trade more technical meat for some of the drama. Ed
Waldi
Hi Ed, These are modern times, people are aparently not interested in that. It needs to be quick or it is too complicated or booring. Grumpy (not so) old Waldi
ed_h
Yeah, I understand that they have to try to appeal to the broadest possible demographic. It just sucks to not fit well in that demographic.. Ed
Waldi
So either we accept or change ourselves:) (not me). Cheers, Waldi

Cheers, Waldi Me neither, the only advantage of getting old is being yourself. Do as you please and say what you think ( for those of you in the UK:- VICTOR MELDREW RULES OK) Bri
Drewmotty
Why can’t they make car programmes for car people and keep “entertainment” for others. We have whole channels for Welsh and Scots. Now where do I audition for Grumpy Old Men? Edited March 9, 2019 by Drewmotty
Chilliman
Quote Now where do I audition for Grumpy Old Men? Friday 4:30 - you know where........but you might have some stiff opposition..

Well, they think they have to, because that's easier than trying to understand your audience and make a programme that fits the audience's wants. Pete

TRseks
Just watched the last episode with the Celica, enjoyed it a lot as this was the same car as my first car; a yellow 72 model and I painted it the same red. I had to “restore” this car and I struggled, not only since it was my first car but also due to the rust and bad quality of the screws, nuts and bolts, a lot of them would shear off. When I restored my over 40 year old TR6 40 years later I had no such problems, the quality of British cars was/is better that it’s reputation!
Quicksilver
Rod, thanks for posting the link to few this episode of car sos outside the UK. Marcel.

Thankfully YouTube is a great source of hands on content. We are unlikely to ever see project Binky on broadcast TV. Stan
