Pulse_82_
Hi Folks, I've joined in the hope to find the whereabouts of my late father's red TR4A. I gather its MOT expired last year. My father owned it in his early 20's whilst living in Bognor in the 70's. I'd like to be considered, should it be for sale or possibility of sale. Thanks..
ianc
The TR4/4A Registrar, Jon Marshall, my have the owner's details (if s/he is a member of the club) and if Jon determines that the owner is willing for you to make contact, Jon can make it happen. Jon's contact details are on page 82 of TR Action. Best of luck, Ian Cornish

Thanks.. if JM does not come up trumps then you could contact the local groups where your father lived during its ownership. https://www.tr-register.co.uk/groups Roger Edited January 31, 2019 by RogerH

Hi - to help your search, please check the accuracy of your description - according to the DVLA database, this car was first registered in 1963 so it must be a TR4 not a 4A which would accord with the reg number. Good luck and keep us posted on here cheers Rich
Pulse_82_
Thanks all. He owned two, one FMX 401B which I thought was the TR4 and 206GXT being the TR4A. I'm completely out of my depth though so completely free to be stood corrected!
iain
FMX401B still appears on the DVLA site too, as 1964 car. https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/ViewVehicle Edited January 31, 2019 by iain
RobG
Hi Pulse, That is a similar and close number to mine, I own a 1964 TR4 FML604B. My Heritage certificate shows it was originally sold by Station Garages Limited in Amersham Bucks and the reg was issued in Middlesex. RobG
