I am right now on my way to fit a BMW diff.

No hurry because my original diff with a QUAIFE is working good

in my V8 since years. There are a lot of reasons for the new one.

It allows much longer cv axles because it is smaller and cv joint fits directly.

I can get a longer axle in the 2.8 range

It is fully free of play.

 

Not an easy job but the axle fits properly!
