roger murray-evans
Remo, Good luck in your search! If you cannot find one, a later radiator with the top pipe moved right, will do the job lining up with the thermostat housing. Roger M-E p.s.If you find 2, I would be interested in the spare!! stuart
They are extremely rare as I know Remo has been looking for one for a lot of years. Stuart.
openroad
Hi all , i have a couple of early radiators, with the starter handle hole. What else denotes early, Those pics aren't easy to see. Conrad.
stuart
IIRC The top hose inlet is in a slightly different place to the later ones due to the early type of thermostat housings. Its top dead centre of the tank unlike later ones where its offset to the left. Stuart.
Tim T
I have these 2 but suspect that they are later ones from what Stuart has said. Can send more images if required. Cheers, Tim

Would sit nicely with the big thermostat housing project. Not a difficult project, we just need a spare early top tank to copy....or a later one with the top hose tube moved to the right place. Once produced they could be used to convert late radiators for the first 1200 cars, and so make fake recreate early cars. Peter W
