Triumph TR8 at Spa (again)

After Le Mans I've planned to test a different configuration at Spa.

The event started promising with a pole position in Qualifying but I already felt that the new setup is worse than at Le Mans.

Basically the spring rates between front and rear not fitting well on this test. The car is too oversteer.

As an addition....the 3-piece wheels started leaking.

The wheel on the rear left lost almost all its pressure during the race, so I couldn't keep up with the front people and finished 11.

At race two, I've use the spare wheels with the harder compound tire....and freezing cold morning. That was a slippery thing. On this race, the rear wheel on the right side started leaking.

For race 3 I've choose the rims which didn't leak and put the soft tires on them.

I've finished somewhere in the middle of the pack....but with 3rd best top speed. 213 kph.

My cameras have let me down. My backup system makes not so good videos:

Enjoying the videos.

The exhaust headers you made work well.

Frustrating about the tyres but you certainly handle it well. I’m subscribed to your channel

I've changed the valve springs before this event and that freed the revs above 6000 rpm.

So I suppose some gain in power. The exhaust is doing okay. No complaint so far.
