RobG
Thanks Tom. Re your nickname, if you were once/are a fireman, the first owner was a fireman and the badge on the front grille , see picture, is London Fire Brigade. Been there all this time, part of the car's heritage. RobG

Hamish
At 95% complete it must be a running working maybe road legal car ? MUST. Be worth more than you are asking. ? What work needs doing ? H Edited September 17, 2018 by Hamish
RobG
Hamish, Strange in the middle car, as it is yes running and can be driven but not ready for the road. Basket cases from the USA are £5,000+ and good running examples £15,000 + so £10,000 in the middle. Edited January 7, 2019 by RobG Update
RobG
New Year New Plan. The TR4 has to be sold as I need my garage back. If anyone interested before I contact TR specific dealers please PM for email, phone number and photos,. here is short recap. It is 1964 TR4 original UK RHD Conifer Green with overdrive and wire wheels. I have the Heritage certificate and V5. 2 owners before me and it went off the road in 1988. I have rebuilt the body tub using Heritage panels, external panels are still in original paint. It will need a respray one day if you want all one colour, though currently has a nice patina. Doors and bonnet in good condition for year, boot lid repaired at base. TR4 seats surprisingly good, just the beading cracked, rear seat in excellent condition. Chassis excellent, straight with no rust. Suspension rebuilt with new bushes, bolts and nuts. Wings ok but one bit rusty at base. Engine has been re-assembled with new rings and bearings, runs ok, 50lb at tick over. It has the better TR4A engine as the original TR4 block did not come with the car. I have only driven the car on my drive and in a private lane. It will need a professional check (or optional MOT) before it is used on the road. The tyres have a date stamp of 1967 so are originals but probably not road safe. Parts required to complete: Full carpet set Tyres have good tread but are over 50 years old, budget for 4 tyres Trim on dashtop, grab handles and rear arches trim Soft top is present but torn with cloudy windows I can send pictures, I have loads. Please PM if interested. My estimate is £8,000 to £10,000 and I will sell to the best offer. Edited January 7, 2019 by RobG Recalculated tyre age, my maths was bad

RobG
I have edited to say over 50 years old, they still look good, but assume they could collapse anytime. Build another garage, not many like this at a reasonable price left.
