RogerH
Hi Folks, I have just fitted a TR6 14W wiper motor to my TR4A. All went well except the wiper arms get parked on the near side. Would I be correct in assuming that I need to lift out the main gear wheel and rotate it 180 degrees to get it to park on the off side. Roger
Richard71
IF I remember correctly.....you'll have to prise off the cam on the gear wheel and re-locate it 180deg from where it was, a screw driver will do the job. Richard.
RogerH
Hi Richard, that confirms what I have just been looking at. Looks easy enough. I wonder what I will break tomorrow. Roger

RogerH
Hi Graham, raw nerve time - about three months ago I lost my bestest favourite screwdriver. I can;t find it anywhere and am wondering what part of the engine it is lodged in Roger
Hamish
Roger That reminds me of loosing a spanner. Gone for a few days. Double checked the last job. Fitting the roll bar on my 3a. There it was !! on the bolt in the wheel arch. Didnt drop off when out on the road as tight between bolt an wheel arch. I make sure I find every thing now. Thats the beauty of tool holders. You can see if something is missing. H
