Where did you drive to with your TR today

Recommended Posts

Me and my wife have been out to visit the annual general meeting of the TR IG Südwest / Germany.

The event took place at the Hotel Götzenburg at Jagsthausen, perhaps some of you have heard about Götz von Berlichingen?

Great to meet old an new friend again!

Took my cousin out to lunch. She was born in 1918.   Tom

Lovely end to a lovely day. Crisp winter coastal run, and down to the beach for a stroll at sundown.  Happy new year all, Deggers

What a difference a day makes . . .

Cross country drive through Devon in the 3A yesterday, heading south to visit friends on the River Dart.

During the night the mercury followed suit and headed south too, making for a pretty fresh journey home in the afternoon.

Swapped the wheels and tires for Vredestein Snow Classics before setting off yesterday (an easy job as they're already mounted on a full set of steels), and was glad to have them. Superbly surefooted tires in conditions like these.

Home, car washed, fire lit, mulling red wine . . . and ready for winter.  :)

My wife and I were going to see relations on Christmas day, she is ill at present, so I left her at home looking after the dogs and took the TR6 out.

Amazing how many cheery waves and headlight flashes I got from passing cars and people venturing out in towns!

Popped over to Sarratt in Herts for Classics on the Common.

A little muddy under foot but not too bad.

Many many vehicles, all sorts and types - Cars, bikes, TRactors, Buses Lorries.  All ages.

I'll pop some pics on later.

Back in 1973, on my Honymoon, The TR's starter motor failed on day 1. The rest of the holiday was spent parking at top of hills etc, & doing the Sandbank car ferry with engine ticking over as restarting would have difficult on a ferry !
