Took my cousin out to lunch. She was born in 1918.   Tom

Lovely end to a lovely day. Crisp winter coastal run, and down to the beach for a stroll at sundown.  Happy new year all, Deggers

Looks great. Touring with aero screens is hard core. Did I see you have helmets on ?

From experience, I know that touring with aero-screens makes two things difficult, if not impossible:

- have a sustained conversation with his passenger,

- install your hood in case of bad weather.

As my wife is an unrepentant talker, I did not plan to spend all my trips leaning to my right (but not too much so as not to come out of the (weak) protection of the Brookland, yelling “WHAT ARE YOU SAYING???”

I also did not plan to have to face the rain without being able to roll over...

So I resolved to travel with the windshield. But when we arrived at our destination, I quickly took it off and within an hour of our arrival, we saw a Frenchman passing by in the hotel with a significant part of his antique car under his arm !

This weekend we attend the Dutch (TRCH) Meet&Greet in Maastricht. Some 70 cars attend.

Yesterday we stayed in Thorn, besides the River Maas, aka the “White Village”.  We visited the “Abbey-church” (Abdijkerk).

Had an excellent week-end with a non-TR-car club's Christmas Dinner & Dance (delayed)

Stayed overnight at the Stanton House Hotel near Swindon.

Beautiful hotel, lovely food and wonderful company.

They allowed us 3 cars at a time to go in for a photo shoot. Well done them.

Lovely place! We were there last October but without the TR!

Yes it is. Despite asking for it to be cleaned and ironed for me.

Today was the last chance for the Redrose group to enjoy TS2. First stop this morning was Lymm service for breakfast (nice Imp behind) we then had a pleasant drive to Guys Hamlet to meet up with other members (and have a quick check under the bonnet) we then continued up to the Lakeland Motor Museum.
