Took my cousin out to lunch. She was born in 1918.   Tom

Lovely end to a lovely day. Crisp winter coastal run, and down to the beach for a stroll at sundown.  Happy new year all, Deggers

Spotted in Whitby today.

Yesterday a Green and Blue TR6's spotted in Thornton le dale on route Malton no pics but they sounded nice.

Early PI like mine once I finally get her back from paint so it was nice to see how she will turn out.

A few of us from Leicestershire TR Group visited the Great British Car Journey this morning. A car museum with a difference - it focusses on the rise and fall of the UK car industry centred on the humble family car, with a few exceptions. Loads of "dads cars" to see again and you can drive some of them.

My dad took a rather tired Humber Super Snipe in exchange for a book keeping job, nice to see one again. It bought back memories of my brother and I taking the head off to de-coke it. We could only just about lift it out the car!

Just got back from the Redrose Autumn leaves run, 16 TRs left Macclesfild for our first stop at Caudwells Mill Rowsley to stock up on flour, we then headed to The Great British Car Journey well worth a visit. To finish off we headed back to The Bulls Head at Mottram.

After months of waiting I was finally able to drive my late fathers TR3A! I had a little errand to run, only an 8 mile round trip but it felt so good to be behind the wheel.

A big thank you to the register for helping, Len and Graham, for completing the necessary paperwork to bring this tr home.

(Please excuse the WIP driveway!)

Not exactly today, but over the last 10 days. 3500 miles, home to Toulouse for the start and on to Carcassonne  for the finish of the Tr Pyrenees rally…..and due to a comprehensive shoulder injury Lois, my wife had to drive the whole event.Poor girl  she hadn’t driven the Tr for 36 years :-)!

I had a trip out yesterday to TRE and ended up with separation  anxiety as I left the car with them for it’s engine transplant. This is where it lives normally just before our trip out.
and yes I have too many tyres
