Bfg
^ The TR looks great. I don't know who styled the TVR but unfortunately it looks to have been influenced by Bill Towns, and looks like a kit car by comparison.
Chris59
This TR7 is (approx) 9 000 Miles from new. Yes, the Tasmin is a sort of caricature, but fantastic to drive, as its chassis is far more efficient than the 7 one. BTW, I'll sell this one once my original TR8 coupé will be ready. John Morrison
Met up with TR friends from Devon, holidaying in North Cumbria, so organised a group day out to treat them, to empty roads and sunshine! John.

John. By coincidence I was watching Miss Potter (Renee Zellweger playing the role of Beatrix Potter) and was very much admiring the background countryside settings. Now high on my 'must visit soon in the TR' list. It's probably been over 45 years since I last visited the Lakes and it looked sublime. I'm amazed though to hear your mention of "empty roads and sunshine" It can't surely be the same Cumbria I came to ?? Pete
John Morrison
Ah Pete, you must visit, sublime is correct, but the empty roads I mentioned were over the border in SW Scotland. Selirlk, Eskdalemuir, St Marys Loch, then Moffat for an ice cream. We don't do 'The Lakes' Easter to End of September, impossible to convoy, but spring, Autumn and very especially New Years Day, - magical. John.

And I would say the same thing. it’s a public health issue not an intended slur on any particular region. 49 minutes ago, ntc said: +1 hope they don’t pay the price Hear hear. I apologise if I offended anyone but Covid is still out there. help me out to understand please and honestly. is it that the law now allows xyz behaviours-thus people think that Covid has gone away? or a government date means that everyone is immune there after ? is it that everyone has tested neg before such a gathering ? perhaps I am too close to it and I see every case in a city. See the hospital beds being taken up with Covid cases. just get vaccinated, (doesn’t stop you getting it and doesn’t stop you spreading it but hopefully if you do get it it will keep you out of hospital. and get in line for the flu jab and Covid booster when they roll that out. kids returning to school will see an up lift too. just stay safe that’s all I am suggesting. I will come down from my soap box now.
RogerH
Hi Hamish, as you work amongst the chaos you see it one way. The public read the press and Gov't relaxation dates etc. and see it another. But there is another more sinister side - are the Gov't being truthful about what is going on. They have rushed a vaccine that has no proven longevity against long term issues - it normally takes 12 years to trial such a vaccine - they give only waffle. They have never explained why the Hormone VitD3 is not recommended as an assist to the vaccine. They do not give a break down in the stats of the VitD3 deficient people that have become ill or dying. Yet there is countless case studies of coloured folk being VitD3 deficient. Even the panel conducting Hancocks Half Hour can be shown to have a financial interest in the vaccine. I would be seriously surprised if any body in the two sets of photo's come down with C19. Roger
