Took my cousin out to lunch. She was born in 1918.   Tom

Lovely end to a lovely day. Crisp winter coastal run, and down to the beach for a stroll at sundown.  Happy new year all, Deggers

Good turnout yesterday at Capesthorne Hall car show, lovely hot day a few cars did not make it in as overheating in the queue. Spotted 14 TRs all looking lovely. Today Brenda is in the outside garage as getting ready for the MOT (to hot in the main garage) looks like I need new brake pads not replaced since I had the car 12 years ago, hope the new ones last as long.

Made a day trip (420 KM) with one off my TR6 to the "Côte d'Opale", ie on the other side of the channel (Cap Gris Nez) with my local club, ie Nord Triumph Club.

Eli (Eli TR6 here) should have some pictures to post too.

I'm sure it's all down to the heavyness of the right foot !

I was cruising at between 60 & 65 80% of the time, in top O/D.

My record before the rebuild was 42 on a Lincoln IWE return trip.

I think you’ll improve on that figure Bob, when another 4-5k has rubbed off the honing peaks.

Spend the last 3 days in and around Robin Hood's Bay with the TR6. Some great roads over the moors and a really good walk along part of the Cleveland Way. Stayed in a small pub in Fylingthorpe with very good simple pub grub, nicely cooked and lots of it.

Here is a picture taken on the Isle of Skye last Saturday.

So Tom must have:

"Just got back from the Isle Of Skye."

(Through the streets in my kilt I fly)

Surely this must be a reference to "Donald where's your TRousers"
