sunset at John o'Groats

Took my cousin out to lunch. She was born in 1918.   Tom

Lovely end to a lovely day. Crisp winter coastal run, and down to the beach for a stroll at sundown.  Happy new year all, Deggers

SuzanneH I’m not on holiday Holiday, I am of work on holiday first time off since this time last year. This area is local to us so no rule breaking as I picked up our tea :)

Thanks for the explanation, I got the wrong end of the stick. You are probably unaware that Roger and I are renowned for doing many thousands of miles up and down GB in our TR4A in a year, this staying local is absolute hell for us.

It is a beautiful day here and as I type this there are two vapour trails being created above my head by aircraft flying over, I wonder where they are going?

Thanks Stuart.

Goonhavern, TR4. It looks like a brand new property. See pm for link.

As I am on holiday for a few days I went to pick up our takeout up in the TR, and I had to go the long way round to pick it up, it was very nice just like the drive.

Hi,

it seems here at Germany we have less Covid travel limitations compared with the UK,

so today me and my wife had a fresh but sunny 200 miles TR-tour today to the garden hermannshof at Weinheim to see their spring blossom.

On our way back we passed by Schloss Heidelberg at the river Neckar.

A lovely day and the TR did a great job. Wishing you all stay healthy.

Ciao, Marco

As Bob says “stay at home” rule ends today.

whilst I need to drive my 3a to get used to it and make sure everything works ahead of my first event on April 18th.  I’m still wary and a bit concerned at what May be classed or seen as unnecessary journeys.
it’s a dilemma!?

Yes, this is all a dilemma....

If we would need an brakedown service of would be involved in an accident we woud effect others....

And a lot of fair people out there are taking care of each other - but also a lot of idiots pushing the limits too far.

Next weekend we stay at home, and at Germany anyway is a discussion about again stronger limitations.

Today Geoffrey (for that is his name) took me and Ben’s Wife (that isn’t her name!) for her COVID jab at Westward Ho! (which is the only place in the UK with an official exclamation mark in its name).

Had an excellent drive around the Chiltern hills today.

Many bluebells in flower (early)

Had to stop for a Red Kite having lunch in the road in front of me. After about 20 seconds it flew away as another car came the other way.

Spectacular view along Bledlow ridge (what did happen to Billy Joe McCallister)
