sunset at John o'Groats

Took my cousin out to lunch. She was born in 1918.   Tom

Lovely end to a lovely day. Crisp winter coastal run, and down to the beach for a stroll at sundown.  Happy new year all, Deggers

Four of us in Three TR's took off for a day in the Yorkshire Dales today,

170mls, with a very good pub lunch made for a cracker of a trip. All day Tops Off driving, and the cars all ran like Swiss Watches.

Photos show us at Langthwaite, the hump back bridge in the background can be seen in the opening titles to The Original BBC TV Series All Creatures great and Small.

Some of the Coventry group came down to Minehead on Tuesday. We decided not to use the TR’s as it would be obvious we were a larger group together, so used our regular vehicles.

had a TR follow us on the Fosse for awhile, then not far from Minehead, a red TR4 or 4a came past in the opposite direction. It was then we regretted not using our classics

although, some of the jams we’ve been in since would have challenged the TR’s :D

Out and about in the Kings Meaburn area, you have got some fantastic roads, we ventured to Greenside Mine for a good walk unfortunately on the way down to the car park it started to rain so had to put the roof on. Had a nice run back to find another ice cream farm.

Went out in the TR3 for a nice drive and lunch at Sutton Wharf.  https://www.sutton-wharf.com/ Car park was boring so no nice car photo but we eat on the canal side watching the antics of the swans and ducks. Good food, nice staff and took C-19 provisions seriously.

Looks good Billy. I know Denbies and have visited a couple of times, but can't picture where you are parked?

Parked just before the main car park, it's an overflow car park, that's Box Hill you can see in the distance.

Well what a well organised road run today, Congleton Beartown Cruise all drivers and passengers had face masks on when out of the cars and social distancing was observed, from Congleton we went to Tatton Park, then onto Grinlow Caravan Park for Lunch and toilet stop. Our final lag was down to Gawsworth Hall for a sit around the lake. All for the Christie Charitable Fund.

Took advantage of the beautiful sunshine this morning and went for a drive through the beautiful Shropshire and Staffordshire countryside. Stopped for a nice breakfast at The Bell at Tong34B582B8-C4D9-46B5-82B1-D1FC20E4CF37.thumb.jpeg.42de8d52fb1efeb462fa1633d34ae6a3.jpeg
