Grahamgl
Gentlemen, Could someone please let me know the size and thread for the very small screw that attaches the trip rest cable to the speedometer. Thanks Graham
Fireman049
Hi Graham ~ I suggest that you contact one of the TR parts suppliers like Revington etc. I'm sure they will be able to help you. Regards ~ Tom.
stillp
I think it's 6BA. Pete
Steve Priest
I've just measured the diameter across the threads on the screw from my old speedo. It's 0.059", so I would take a punt on 11 BA. http://www.ba-bolts.co.uk/faq.html Could be completely wrong! Steve
Richardtr3a
I lost mine on the carpet below the dash. I found that a small length of copper wire, from the light circuit cable, without the insulation could be screwed in with the long nose pliers. It is copper so it cuts it's own thread and , when in far enough, the excess can be trimmed off. It will then be OK to push upwards when necessary. There is very little strain on it. Good luck
