SeanF
Hello All, The Technicalities CD article on these brackets mentioned that they could be sourced from a company called RMR Engineering. This was obviously very old information but I decided to try to track them down, and found RMR still trading in Folkestone Kent. I spoke to the owner John Richards who said he had not been asked for these brackets for years, but still had the specs and could make them if I wanted. Three days later the brackets arrived by courier and I am very pleased with them (although not attempted to fit them yet TBF). £65 plus VAT and carriage. See attached pic. John has confirmed to me that he is willing to continue making them if anyone out there wants them so I said that I would post his details here: RMR Engineering Limited, 90 - 92 Tontine Road, Folkestone, Kent. CT20 1JW Tel: 01303 253166. email: rmrengineering@freenetname.co.uk Ask for John Richards No connection other than a happy customer. Cheers, Sean
stuart
Thats good as I much prefer these brackets to any other ones. They are so much stronger and safer. Stuart.
Drewmotty
+1 Stuart........although I dont like the standard captive nuts in the floor so Ive removed them and use 5/16 bolts with spreader plates under the floor.

John Bracher
Now I think I understand. Perhaps I don't have a Technicalities CD after all. I was looking on the double CD set supplied, entitled 'TR action issues 1-200'. Was I cheated??
