Getting the lost roof spoiler back in place

Recommended Posts

At Spa, at about 240kph, I've lost the roof spoiler.

Thankfully to the cornerworkers I've got the spoiler back, nearly undamaged.

I had let it paint and also the nose which got shaved by a naughty Porsche:

but the trouble thing was more the damage to the roof itself, at which the connectors pulled out:

So after assembling the TR4 engine today, I've started repairing the Roof:

Closing the hole, fitting new shims and screws and primed it:

Then putting a thin layer of "I don't know the british name" for it.

And then painting it:

As soon the paint is hard enough I will make it nicely finished.

Good work Christian, I wondered how the repair was going.

my wife stopped my work with enforcing me to go on a ship cruise with her.

Now I'm back and work starts.

I think both cars will race ready end of next week.
