Hawk
... and Willy performed faultlessly and the chassis repair held up Despite the ferry over being cancelled (Le Havre port strike) and a mad dash to catch a different ferry, all worked out well and me and the car covered over 1000 miles without issue (hardly using any oil in the process), This is the first long trip I have done in the TR and I have to say I am very happy .... Willy was as happy cruising at 50mph down the back roads as 80mph on the peage. The weather this year was glorious and the hood wasn't raised once in 6 days. As always the racing was excellent and beer was freely available at the circuit... although I was slightly disappointed with the scheduling changes and the reduction in track time. Already looking forward to 2020.
Richardtr3a
Lucky you were not booked in to Newhaven for your return trip. It could have made a great difference to your return trip. Good luck Richard
Tim D.
Went via Caen. All good apart from the stag engine grenading in the camp site. Lucky we had RAC recovery Tim
