Lebro
Hope it lasts longer than mine did (the controller) Bob.
Andy Moltu
Rob, that assumes the water is circulating - what if the thermostat has failed closed? Then again, if the coolant level is low, the top hose might be empty so a thermostat there will be cold. Pete Then the water won't be flowing through the radiator so the fan, mechanical, electric let alone where the stat is placed will be irrelevant.
Bob Horner
My revotec switch failed after a couple of years. The location is a bit crap really for adjusting, altough as said before, once set its ok (until it fails!). I replaced it with another (pipe already cut) which was pretty pricey for what it is - lets see if it lasts longer than the previous one. Sometimes you just wish such things were better thought out given their cost. Bob
Tr4aJim
Folks, I see on the Revotec web site that they also sell a threaded controller and a “self-sealing” controller. Has anyone tried either of these? Jim
