In the process of reassembling everything back on to a newly painted door,

am I correct in thinkling I can fit both the inner and outer weather strips along the top,

and then the glass?

Channels in, glass next fit up but leave the bottom stop hanging so you can wind down window down to its full depth. Now you should have room to get those pesky clips in using Moss's tool

designed for this. You will drop the clips but easily retrieved.

Fun it is not but you will get there.

You can still get to everything as you can push the front and rear out of the way sufficiently to assemble stuff, the one on the glass will fold out the way at the bottom of the frame, fit the lower stop and wire restrainer last.
