RichT
I think the servo on my 69pi is dying. The brakes are getting harder to apply(as though servo not helping) hissing noise everytime pedal is pushed and at standstill the revs increase considerably when pedal is pressed. Has anyone used one of the overhaul kits to repair their servos if so is it a straightforward job to do? As id rather overhaul the current one than pay alot for a replacement. Rem18
Are replacements very costly? Mine has a Ford servo as someone replaced many many years ago.
Waldi
I overhauled mine with a kit. The membrane was as new so I did not need that. Gritblasted the bowl and painted inside with a PU coating. For removal of the bowl I had to make a simple tool with a large handle. Worked ok. Car has not been driven since to cannot tell (how) it works but I guess it is ok. Think kit came from Moss.
