DaveN
Hi folks. Does anyone have a drawing with dimensions for a fireproof bulkhead to fit in front of the fuel tank on a TR6? Rummaging around at work I've found a nice sheet of stainless steel that is without a release number...it's going in the skip! (everything aviation related must be fully traceable back to source). RogerH
Hi Dave, it takes a fair bit of elbow grease to rub that release number off Roger

cvtrian
Hi Dave I'm thinking of doing the same - if you have enough for a second I would happily buy it..... Thanks Ian Edited May 8, 2018 by cvtrian
stuart
Good luck with trying to do that in stainless, Ally is much easier to work with., Use the original back board as a pattern and leave an extra 1" or so at the base for a return. That gives you the centre section then you will need to make a couple of cardboard templates for the small side pieces that go under the deck edges (These are the hardest to make and fit) Especially be careful with the left hand one that goes over the rear loom extension. Then rivet it in with a line of sealant all round. Stuart
DaveN
You may well be right there Stuart....it's 18guage! I'll have a think about it!
Motorsport Mickey
Thats tough work in 18 gauge stainless, I would stash the jarvoed sheet away until a more applicable use comes for it and either buy an alloy 18 gauge sheet and cut your own as has been suggested, or buy a pre cut sheet from one of the TR specialists. Well done for making a major improvement to your TR safety in motoring. Mick Richards
