Now that I have the tickover in control, what is the advice on upgrading the drain holes in the boot lid channels. I am planning to upgrade to 15 mm copper so that it will not block up or rust.

Has anyone done a repair?

Thanks Richard

When replacing them on a rotted car I usually use 3/8" pipe and I have never found the need to go any bigger. Dont forget if you do then you need to make the exit holes much bigger in the inner wing too.

I do not know how you found that Mike. I searched before posting and found nothing. This looks like a good answer. I was planning 15mm throughout and one wing has already been opened up. So I think the cu bend and some plastic pipe will be an answer unless I can make up the whole fitting in copper.

Thanks Richard

I made new holes straight down, no kinks on the tube.
