Fireman049
Hi Bob ~ Perhaps you're right! I bought the bulbs thanks to your link posted 4th. April in the TR2/3.3A/3B Forum #18. Thanks Bob ~ Tom.
MikeyB1
Are you guys psychic or something. Two nights ago I nearly ordered a pair of these from Amazon, but decided to do a little more research first. You've just made my mind up. Thanks. Mike.
Don H.
Seriously, guys, what's so special about Osram brand H4 +30 bulbs? I've generally considered (and found through experience) that any H4, at a given "plus" level, from any reputable Western European producer, is interchangable. I like Osram, but I've had good results from Hella and Philips, too. For all I know Osram is the maker for any number of copacked or private label bulbs. Are you all using one of these or something different? https://www.osram.com/am/nightbreaker_jubilee.jsp
Ian Vincent
Just be aware that there is a downside, they only have about half the life of a regular bulb. Rgds Ian

Ian Vincent
Hi Ian ~ I should live so long ~ Tom. Fair point. I only commented because I bought a pair following Bob's posting the link and noticed it on the pack. I haven't had a chance to check how much more light they provide yet but I did notice when I was setting them up in the garage that they have a nice tight beam with a good cut off. nowtelse2do
There is another side to this. Read the comments at the end. My opinion......Dim the bu*gers, much to bright. SteveB21
Just to add to this - I use the Osram bulbs but found a similar benefit when I switched from "Lucas" repro lenses to decent Cibie units, which I now see Moss have started stocking. Cheers Steve
Lebro
Eurocarparts are usually pretty good for the Cibie (Valeo) units if you find a discount code (look on-line) combined with the Nightbreakers they are very good. Bob.

Bob. Cibie Iodes and osram nightbreakers get my vote too. When i replaced the existing , skightly tired but working, h4s on my TR6 i was astonished at the light output, especially on full beam. I searched and found an Alfa Romeo specialist had the cibies at the best price, prices varied a lot. Steve

michaeldavis39
I've tried to find Cibie/Valeo 7 inch headlights for TR6 on Eurocarparts website but no success- anyone got any ideas - I've tried Land Rover Range Rover, Austin Mini and inputting car reg but still no joy- quite a challenge to find. Bob. +1 BEWARE- buy Nightbreaker only from reputable dealers. There are counterfeit items that are indistinguishable.... Until your car goes up in Smoke!!! EBay & Amazon are full of counterfeits.
