Yes that is the one we have on all 3 sidescreen cars now.

We've been out with our TR4A for a longer drive

to the Lago Maggiore (Italy) with another couple and their TR6.

On the tour this &@?#%!! plastic brake light switch failed on the TR6,

but it was possible to open it, clean the contacts, so it works again.

This is not possible with the BWM switch....

Yesterday I looked for my old plastic switch,

opened it, cleaned the contacts (very bad condition) and bended them slightly.

Now it works lovely again and is a spare part in my TRs boot for YOU.

I did the same last month as Ciao Marco on my Vitesse. It only had a small amount of corrosion on the contacts. Cleaned, re-set and greased the contacts, all now work OK.

If the plastic case and contacts are OK it's worth repairing.

The same switch was used on most of the Triumph models of the age. Good old parts bin.
