RogerH
Hi Folks, has anybody got a very original good quality sill (left/right of both) they would be happy to lend etc to help with a project in making new correct shaped items. It will not be damaged in any way but may help others to have decent sills for their rebuilds. Roger

Dave Ashworth
You can put me down for a pair of sills Roger, if that is the plan. Good luck with the project. Cheers. Dave.
paul.taylor6
Hi Roger, if you are working on batch of sill, you can put my name down for pair. Good luck, Paul
RogerH
Hi Dave and Paul, we've only just started looking - this could take years Roger
rcreweread
Roger I have a very original TR4A ( off the road) with the nearside Sill mostly intact in all the crucial areas - is this of any interest? Would have to be measured/profiled in situ - just a thought. Cheers Rich
RogerH
Hi Rich, I understand the plan is to send it off to be optically scanned, so being attached to a body could be a little awkward. But thanks for the offer. Roger
rcreweread
Roger I guessed as much = I have however optically scanned it, but I can't seem to record the data in a recognisable format!!! Cheers Rich
BlueTR3A-5EKT
C&B had samples of OE sills 'Kellered' (trace milled) in the 1980's to reprofile their existing kirksite press tools, when they wore. Peter W
RogerH
Thanks Pete, I'l have a word with Jeff. Roger

BlueTR3A-5EKT
Just as a bit of a tease....try the end caps in the sills. Check the inner upper profile with an OE inner sill and the lower with an OE floor. Peter W
RogerH
No!

Check the inner upper profile with an OE inner sill and the lower with an OE floor. Peter W The new Moss ones are a pretty good fit, proper deep draw pressing not just the rough shape with the sides bent over like they used to be. Stuart.
