ptr2
Hi, what was the original pipe from the water pump to the Heater hose, is it the same as the repro one. Thanks
tim hunt
On my 4A the original mild steel pipe rusted through some ten years ago, as most will have done by now I guess. I replaced with a stainless steel version from Phoenix (the exhaust people). It needed a little bit of fettling to achieve a good fit but no real problem, Tim
Lebro
Stainless is the normal replacement for most - got mine from the TR shop, but available at most of the usual outlets Bob.

BlueTR3A-5EKT
Hi Rich, the 4/4A has the pipe running form the front, then around the back of the engine to the bulkhead rubber pipes The TR2/3/3A doesn;t Roger ...and of course the 6 cyl one (214404 & 201405) is longer with the same tube diameter and uses same olive and threaded end fitting. The TR250/6 carb version (214405) has two outlets at the bulkhead end. Spitfire/GT6 etc uses same sized tube diameter too. Tube is 1/2" od. NOT metric. Peter W
mjdearing
just make sure the ends have a mushroom on them if not the hose WILL blow off as the stainless is very smooth ,a correct size olive can be soldered on if needed
