Recommended Posts

Hi,

this summer my wife and me are on a holiday tour at the Cornwall,

unlucky not with the TR4A because my wife want's not to care for oil, radiator water and new noices.

But we would like to visit a classic car or steam event - if there is one.

07./08. July near Lyme Regis + max. 25 miles

14./15. July near Penzance + max. 25 miles

Any advices are wellcome.

Ciao Marco

Hi Marco

Wadebridge wheels on 15th July, usually a TR presence there. But more than 25miles North East of Penzance. St Buryan rally 28th July cars there but mainly steam and agricultural.

Will look out for more for you, I live 7 miles from Penzance.

Hi There is a classic car & steam rally ( historic vehicle gathering) at Powderham near Exeter on 7th/8/July organised by the Crash Box club. The Tr register wil be represented by Devon /Dorset & Somerset cars. It is approx 30 miles from Lyme Regis.Usually a well attended event . Details from Devon group leader if interested. Chris

It was a great pleasure to us to meet Stuart yesterday at the pub and visit him today for a short time at his workshop.

We wish him all the best and will stay in contact with him.

Hi,

the show of the Kenrow old vehicle club was not that big but absolutely suitable for us to spend there a few hours.

I woundered obout the number if stationay engines, how they work and about the fact they have an ignition every 10 revs.

A TR 2, 3, 4, 6 was there, two of them with trailer coupling!! Until know I have never seen that, but I know my TR4A slso had one when he came back from the USA.

Ciao Marco

The TR2 with a towbar would have been our group leaders car as he used to tow a trailer tent
