TR4 Works wing vent grilles

Recommended Posts

Ian

Thanks for the explanation and photos, what is described is the only way I had thought would be logical, now I just have to attempt it.

Tush heres a link to my latest photos http://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/64738-tr4-getting-closer-to-painting/

As we type this I have literally delivered the tub to the painters in the last 24 hours so it wont be long before I can post a few photos of the freshly painted tub and Guards

More photos soon

cheers Jim

It will be Menno, however I doubt it will be as pristine as your car, and after all powder blue seems to have many many shades, but it will be close

Hi All,

Just wanted to post a quick update on the Rally Vents progress

Cheers

Another great video Tush.

Big step to cut the inner and outer wings (fenders?).

You and Elin make a good pair.

How come he got to do the cutting ?

Keep up the good work.

Visiting Canada in the summer. But you and Elin are safe. Its a honeymoon Vancouver side.

Hi Hamish,

We go with ours strengths....he's a better cutter and I'm a better welder :-) (or a better weld grinder at least)

I think the vents turned out quite well...I'm very happy with them.

Too bad you weren't coming here...we'd put you to work for sure!

Cheers

Tush

Hamish, if you plan to visit the Island while you are in BC, you would be welcome here, the TR250 needs finishing!

Cheers

Vancouver Island does play a significant part of our trip.

Given the time I spend ( time and money ????) on TR related activity at home including Racing it, whilst Suzie is very supportive and enjoys driving it

Im certain that a surprise day working on a car wouldnt go down too well.

But you never know. Could sell it as getting local recommendations for what to see and do.
