Penfold
Hello all, Just trying to replace the water pump and can't seem to get it off the housing. It looks as though the studs connecting it to the housing are not in (to the housing) far enough. This means there's not enough room between the housing and pulley for the nut to come off the end of the stud (see attached photo). This is slowly driving me nuts! Does anyone have any ideas how to get the studs further into the housing to give the nuts more room to come off? The pulley wheel doesn't come off (fixed unit). I can only assume the studs must have come out a bit since the pump and housing was put together otherwise I'm not sure how it could have been assembled in the first place. Any clues gratefully received. Thanks all...
Tr4Deano
Hi, from the photo taken can’t you separate the pump from the housing so you can take the nuts off as you pull the pump further off
barkerwilliams
Surely undo each nut as far as it will go. Then pull pump off as far as it will go. Then unscrew nuts more. repeat as necessary. Alan Deano - Snap Edited January 20, 2018 by barkerwilliams

len1
pretty sure thats how it should be. you need to undo the other bolts and break free the pump and then you can release that nut on the stud.
