barry p cook
How do I attach a video to a post? I've just started my engine after a full rebuild and got my son to film it on his phone for posterity. The video is in MPEG format and we've edited it down to 700 kb but when I created a new post and tried to attach it I got a pop up message to say I coudn't attach that file. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Barry
RobH
It may be that the file format is not supported. I think others have uploaded videos to youtube and then posted a link to them.
barry p cook
Thanks Rob. I'll give that a go. I was just enjoying a thread on the TR5 forum about ramps and realised there are 2 videos on there which made me wonder why I couldn't post mine. Don H.
If you have the video on YouTube, simply copy the URL from the very top address line of your browser and paste it into a thread. It will open as a playable window. No need for any of the YouTube links below the video on the screen. Amazingly easy and reliable.
barry p cook
Cheers Don. Just need to register with YouTube and will give it a try.
