Cylinder Head Issues

Hi all

Just had the diff reconditioned-and recommend Mike Papworth at Coventry for his excellent work-made a real effort to ensure it was done well. However, to get on topic, I did a compression test and it led to further investigation-all cylinders around 180 but number 5 on 145. Altough I took the head off and ground the valves in when I bought the car, that was now a staggering 10 years ago (where does the time go?) it always seemed to run a little rough, even for a 6! The car was fully rebuilt in the mid nineties and the engine was reconditioned. I suspect head gasket failure and intend to take the head off and check. Does anyone have any recommendations for unleaded conversion and head reconditioning in the Midlands? Or maybe a swap for a head that is ready to fit? Anyone been in this position and have some advice?
