Ade-TR4
Afternoon All, Does anyone have a couple of these brackets (13) available? Thanks muchly Adey
lynchpin
Hi Ade My 4 has brackets identical to this but they look home made, done by the previous owner on a rebuild, they dont look too difficult to make if you have minor metalwork skills. Phil..
ianc
My TR4 has an anti-roll bar which uses brackets like this - contact Revington. Ian Cornish
Tr4Deano
As above just get yourself some angle-iron
ianc
But note that where the drop link enters this bracket, one needs double the thickness of steel (see Moss's picture). Ian Cornish
Ade-TR4
Thanks for the replies - excellent and speedy as always! I've tried Revington, with no success Phil, do you have a photo of the brackets? As Ian says, there seems to be a double-thickness for the vertical-link bolt: Just trying to size-it up so I can make some myself, if needed. (Deano - this is my fall-back plan!) Thanks again chaps! Chilliman
Adey, I've got a set on the shelf - they look like a simple structure made of 3mm steel with a double section in the middle, let me know if you need detailed dimensions...
Ade-TR4
Fantastic! Dims would be good - thought Id use 5mm thick angle for the whole bracket? Thanks again - photo very useful Ade
MKTR
I seem to recall getting the whole set up including brackets from TR shop as new items Mark
ChrisR-4A
Fantastic! Dims would be good - thought Id use 5mm thick angle for the whole bracket? Thanks again - photo very useful Ade Hi Ade, I would think 3mm preformed angle would be more than strong enough especially as preformed is slightly thicker in the corner.Chris
BlueTR3A-5EKT
This is what I used http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/hapages/eyeboltsan46.php Peter W
Ade-TR4
Thanks again, Good to know re: 3mm thickness, although eye-bolt looks like a nice simple solution. TR shop will be getting a call tomorrow too Cheers - have a good weekend! Ade
Chilliman
Ade, sorry I promised some dimensions but have just got back after a hectic week. It's basically a bit of 1" X 1 1/2" angle iron - if you are going to make your own and need the exact dimesions let me know.....
Ade-TR4
Thanks John, I had reckoned on 30x40mm angle, so not far off! Cheers Ade
MRG1965
Hi Ade, you could try these guys in Belgium, brackets you are looking for are 14 Euro each plus postage. There is also a German company that sell the same bracket, but can't find that site. https://www.angloparts.com/en/catalogues/group/2586/tr2-4a-anti-roll-bars Mark
