TR4/4A fuel cap lock

Did your wife ask you these days?

“Dear my loving husband, you worked very hard this year!

So you deserve a very special Christmas present! Do you have any wish?”

Did you answer?

“Oh my loving sweetheart. This question is already present enough for me.

There is nothing special I desire but you. And the pyjama from last year is still in very good shape?”

Ask yourself:

Is this really the truth?

Isn’t there nothing you could need, perhaps for your TR4/4A? No idea.....?

Hi there,

over the last 5 years I made lots of this lock inserts,

most sold via eBay, and it was always a pleasure to get in contact with people all Europe,

and even New Zealand, Australia, Puerto Rico, Canada, USA.

But I have lots of other projects (not only TR) waiting to start or finish.

So I decided to do a final edition for the next years,

also to clean up my workshop only using material and locks I have already stored there.

Here they are , 2 lock inserts with flat key, key to pull in locked and in opened position,

and 6 lock inserts with cylinder key, only to pull when the lock is locked.

Price is 60 GBP because shipping cost increased, if you are interested please send me a PM.

Ciao, Marco

Like Bob, I'm very pleased with the lock which I bought from Marco, and I published a recommendation in TR Action once I had fitted the lock.

Not only does the lock prevent theft of the precious fuel, it makes it near impossible for anyone to pollute the fuel by pouring material into the tank.

Hi there,

thank you and sorry, all lock inserts are sold.

For those who decided too late to buy one, there us a german guy at eBay Germany who sells 100% copies of my lock insert.

I don't know him and he wants some more money, more I don't know.

Ciao, Marco

Hi Nigel,

I hope I will have them ready soon, but I had to source out making the lock body to a mechanical workshop.

And sadly the tell me each week the bodies will be ready next week...that's a bit annoying.

Ciao, Marco
