Having a clear out, all sorts of bits TR, and some not.

Tried to put an Ebay link in our own BST, but it beat me.

so if you wish to look go to ebay number https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-TR-gearbox-selector/132403678682?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

Don't forget to look at my other items to see the other parts

Cheers.

Hello,

Your advert says:

"Gearbox top selector cover, will fit TR2/3/4/5/6"

Unless I'm wrong this is not true.

It may fit some, but not all.

Charlie D.

Hello Charlie,

you could well be right, but I am sure there are others better qualified than us to put it right, but thanks for the Heads up Peter.

BST....

I have just tried to place an add and was required to login in with a completely new login code to one I use to access the forum.

Is it me or is the system on the wonk?

Peter W

Sorry for double posting if this offends......

What I will do is contact the office tomorrow

Because they will be able to in lighten me.

Dear Peter sorry to jump on your post

Please excuse me

Helen

Helen your most welcome.

I have found the site difficult too, because its very visibly vague. They did tell me once what an "excerpt" was, but I forget, why they cannot just say an episode of Corrie or whatever, that is easily understandable

beats me.

reading the site is as you know simple, but some silly titles are meaningless, but I have said so in the past and because its simple for folk like Wayne, they must assume its simple for people like me.

But it isn't.

On a lighter note, I have sold many of the items listed which surprised me, I have been falling over this stuff for years!

The only sad point is that it seems there are no members striving to play the Guitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on Helen, I can see you in that Suzie Quatro outfit as we speak, make a bid girl.

But must admit she was a stunning person.

I'm going to call the club tomorrow and see what I'm doing wrong.

Keep putting your stuff up peter.

Friends and members that I know want you to.

If I do ever get the bst sorted I will add my things.

All the very best to you

Helen

Interesting guitars!

Interesting?! Sean these are the best in the world, absolutely hand made, even the coil windings of the Humbuckers were done in house, no CNC allowed.

The steel rod going through the stock, is not straight, but curved, to preserve its integrity, John Smith (the Smith in Gordon Smith) (Gordon not long after the firm started went out for a packet of fags and never went Back!)

Worked out a method of drilling the stock in a sort of "ARC" that still remains a secret. He wouldn't tell me how it was done, and he was good a pal I met over 40 years ago.

None of them sold, I did try and get Helen to go for it but one is re-listed, the Gemini, at 66 percent of the cost of a new one.

Go on Sean, go for it 5% discount for TR lads.

I'd love to Pete but they're a bit too rich for me :(

I know what you mean Sean, you can get a decent guitar for under £200 easily today, even the bigger outlets are also selling preowned instruments.
