RogerH Posted October 9, 2017 Report Share Posted October 9, 2017 Hi James , not sure which kit you are looking at but a simple search on the web shows that many do not do Chrome but Nickel (as per the old days) The true Chrome kits are very expensive. A neighbour here ( 3 Simca 8s of which one is bodied by Facel,) tells me he can no longer find them ( the kit) in France. - I suspect our version of elfandsifty - and asked me if they were still available in Blighty James Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Proper chrome plating is quite toxic and the finish is all down to the prep/polishing. If you need it doing and it can't be done where you live then send it to the UK.
