Registration documents

Do you have a number on a plate rivetted on the firewall behind the brake cylinder? That seems to have been accepted as a chassis number in Australia 30 odd years ago.

Hi Mike,i have that but it is the body number, since posting though i have had a fantastic response and now have the chassis number and registration number so i'm well on my way.Thanks to you and everyone else who has replied.Regards Tony

If my brother's experience with the Riley is anything to go by, DVLA will almost certainly want 'expert' input from the Register at some point in the process.
