ptmcrae
Does anyone know where I can obtain a steering box ball cage ? Original part no. 060371.
mike ellis
I may be able to help but will need to check in my garage at the weekend. What car do you have, are you rebuilding the steering box as two of these are required and do you need the race as well. Mike
John Morrison
Group member recently found these are unavailable anywhere. The race is available I beleive from Moss, but thats all. He replaced all the ball bearings with new, using the original cage, and new race. Worked reallywell. John.
RogerH
Has anybody looked at any of the big bearing companies. It looks like a fairly standard item albeit old, Roger
ptmcrae
Hi Mike, it is for a TR3A 1959. Yes, if you have a race as well that would be good; I need 1 cage bearing and 1 race, cage in bottom bearing is damaged. Thanks Paul

BlueTR3A-5EKT
Now that is curious. I managed the remaking of progression press tools to make the cage and assemble the balls into it with an OE steering manufacturer when I worked for Moss. The tools cost a lot of money and the product was spot on. What happened to the tools I ask? The company still exists. Peter W
