Richardtr3a
The rear end of my 3A is low and the exhaust catches on any raised kerb or bumps. I have a price list from BCC in Redruth Cornwall. The springs are made using an ISO9001 quality control system from EN45 (251A58) British steel. The springs are made in Sheffield. This all sounds like good quality. The cost for two is £376.00 which seems to be high. But buying cheap springs that sink quickly is probably more expensive. What shall I do? Please advise. tomfpurves
iI put two new rear springs on my TR3A from Neil Revington and am very pleased with them.Good ones will not be cheap and using a renowned specialist you know some thought has gone into them Tom
Drewmotty
Use the Revington 161lb road/rally spring. Standard ride height and not harsh. I've matched them with Revingtons red stripe front springs on my TR4 but on my TR 3 I've balanced the handling out with a TR6 front anti roll bar used with standard springs. Drewmotty
.......fit them with polybushes on the shackles and the big location washers on the front eyes from the same source while you're at it.
