nonothing
Hi I have had some issues with the electrics on the TR 5 which required the removal of the dash board and disconnecting gauges dials switches steering column etc last October I thought I had diligently labelled all the connection and took photos the mystery I have is the re connection of the steering column lighting switch. I have followed the wiring diagram and am left with a blue and white wire from the switch looking for a double wired blue and white connection to operate the head light flash What am I missing ? as I cannot locate the double wired blue and white to connect to the loom

tthomson
The Thin Blue/White wire from the lighting switch needs to be connected to the Thick Blue/White wire from the Dip Switch. Normally this wire is part of the loom and runs from the dip switch to the rear of the dash for this purpose. If it is not there, you may need to run a wire from the Blue/White wire on the Dip Switch to the Blue/White wire from the lighting switch. This is only used when flashing your headlights. The thick Blue/White wire behind the dash also connects to the Headlamp indicator light in the Speedo, If the bullet connector is a single, you might not realise that this wire is the one you need. It needs a double bullet connector to connect all three wires. TT
