Hi,

I'm in need of a new dashtop and was wondering if i can get it recovered as the foam is in good condition or if not where to buy one from as theres a few places that sell them at different prices and wondered if there was any difference in the quality?

Cheers

Nigel

Apparently the TR shop one is pretty good, but yours sound ok , a decent upholsterer would do a decent job, if you do really fancy it.

Cheers,

Conrad.

TR Shop do the best ones, re-covering can look good but then you need everything else to match.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but, a related question;

How easy is it to remove and replace the dashtop?

Remove windscreen frame complete. Wide blade filler knife to get under vinyl.

Remove dash and release the metal dash.Release steering column. Once all stuff is cleared fit dash top and reverse the procedure. As winter is here you can take your time. A lot of work but do able.

Regards Harry
