1969 TR6 Are they worth less than later CP models?

Yep. I've got 2. 71 and 72.

But there's not many CP's left in Oz and those remaining are fairly tightly held. 25,000 pounds ( about AU$45000) would buy an average original RHD CP here with a type A overdrive.  No TR6 bargains here, but then again the only salt on the roads is near the beach.

After four years since his question I reckon the query just might be sorted by now!

Must have been, PandO's listed on the forum as owning a "1971 CP TR6 in Damson"

If I were buying another I would buy the one with the best body and ingnore the CP or CR designation. That's the expensive part of rebuilding a TR.

The difference in power is not 25bhp but nearer to 12bhp and either can be tweeked to give considerably more power.
