TR6 Valuation

Recommended Posts

Hello NeaI,

Have you tried calling the TR Insurance to start with and asking what they require? I ask because for me they have always accepted my valuation, providing I supply 6 photos.

If you cannot agree a valuation with the insurer, then you could look at contacting:

Brian Page, Classic Assessments - http://www.classicassessments.com/ - brian.page@classicassessments.com

You could also try some of the specialist firms that restore/deal in TRs.

Mine had been insured for years for £7,500. so I said make it 14 k to my classic car insurers and they just said ok and up the premium a few quid...I also asked them about non manufacturers spec like lower speed rated tyres, and they said if it's got an MOT that'll do perfectly well!

HI Guys,

Just insured my 72 TR6 PI with Carol Nash Insurance and they had no hesitation in agreeing the value at £25000.

Mind you the car is fully restored built around a new CTM chassis, new floors, inner/outer cills, new wings, Bonnet and Boot and rebuilt engine and running gear and is in A1 condition.

Regards

Rich

But if it was Stolen and not Recovered or Written Off could you replace it for £25,000 as in Like for Like.
