len1
I am ready to paint my cills in black but am unsure of the correct position to mask off. Can anyone help with a picture ? Or is it just painted to the chrome strip ? Thanks in advance Len Edited September 24, 2016 by len1

Sapphire72
Just repainted my '72 a few days ago with Satin Black & a sponge brush. Goes pretty quickly. 2 coats better than 1. (The touch of green is some run-off from spraying the inner-frame, through the holes, with Eastwood Inner Frame Coating- Stops Rust. The red is the back of the floor pans, floors are painted red underneath.) Edited September 25, 2016 by Sapphire72

Mark69
Stuart, I take it that flap of rubber is protecting the drain tube from blocking. Neat idea may adopt that on mine. Thanks Mark.

Thanks Mark. It also creates a low pressure zone behind to assist in applying a bit of suck, same principle as a self baler on a dinghy. Stuart.
