I remember seeing a photo(s) here on the forum most likely posted by Stuart detailing the ideal locations for the above.

 

I've searched the archive in vain, can anyone help out please?

I already have pads, what I'm looking for are the optimum locations on the car to place them, pics would be great.

This is where I placed them on the shelf. I also placed one at the back of the each floor pan....(picture is before floor ones installed). I did notice it makes a difference.

 

I'm in the process of refreshing the door inside parts, and will put some on the door when I have those parts out.

 

 

I covered the plastic transmission cover with "hushmat" as well as the firewall. A lot of people cover the entire interior flooring and shelf area with "hushmat" type covering.

In my case, I compromised with both.

Like this Richard. Also one either side of the tank and inside the doors as well. You dont need to cover the panels entirely as they are used to stop drumming.
