Carpets

Recommended Posts

I bought a set of WOOL carpets from a reputable supplier. After about 18 months the colour started to fade. The worst area was the piece over the tunnel.I received a new section from the supplier but now other areas have started to fade.

I would be interested if anyone else has experienced the same problem with wool.My regret is that I didn't opt for a synthetic fibre.

I have black all wool carpet for over 20 years and there is no sign of fading.

There is a burn mark where the wiring burnt out and dropped a hot wire down by the clutch pedal.

I will try and find where I bought the carpet from.

I have a wool carpet set supplied by John Skinner fitted to my TR6 which has been in place for two years with no signs of fading.
