TriumphV8 Posted October 21, 2016 Report Share Posted October 21, 2016 For the Dutch readers/drivers among us: it's worth checking if a bolt-on conversion is allowed for the Dutch MoT (APK)! Perhaps the rules have changed but about 10yrs ago, it wasn't allowed the fixed parts of the steering needed to be 'fixed' to the chassis. Here: welded. Menno As I know in Germany, what is Europe like Dutch, it is necessary for TÜV approval that a certified welder must do that job and sign for it. To avoid those problems the Bastuck kit is fully bolted. I would prefer that route because the original can be restoreed when needed. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
